Scot's 301 Redirect & .htaccess utility is a Miva Merchant module that makes it easy to add 301 redirects to your .htaccess file. This module also lets you edit the .htaccess file directly, create backups, and save redirects and custom .htaccess settings.

License Information

Most licenses are good for the lifetime of the product. In some cases there may be an update fee for major version changes (v1 to v2, etc...)

Using proper 301 redirects is required for good SEO because 301 redirects are what tell search engines what the permanent replacement for a bad or changed URL is.

Scot's 301 Redirect .htaccess utility module makes it easy to add and edit your 301 redirects. You can also:

We made this Miva Merchant module for ourselves, but over time have used it in so many client stores that we decided to polish it up a bit and make it available to anyone at a price anyone can afford.

Important Note

This module does not redirect old parameter style Miva Merchant links such as merchant.mvc?screen=PROD&product_code=scots301. You can use the module to easily edit your htaccess file to add the relevant commands.
