Cannot backup!back to discussions

I'm so excited to update to 3.33, but for some reason I cannot make a backup to save my life.  Is there any way to manually backup everything not using the admin interface?  Or is there something I might be doing incorrectly that would cause it to time out every time?  I've tried using both the regular and the bzip2 format, and both of them timeout and will not complete.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you have some large mailing lists or your log files are huge which could cause a time out.  However if you don't use bzip it shouldn't time out.  You might get an error trying to downlaod it, if that's what's happening you'll need to manually create a "mailing_list_export" directory inside your scotmail html folder.

You can also easily manually back up by going into the miva data area of your site and backing up the "smr_scotmail" data directory.  That's what the scotmail admin does, it just does it for you.
